Many countries are for the International Monetary Fund organization because it has done great deeds for these developing countries. It has impacted many many countries, either it's by releasing from a debt crisis or natural disaster. It has helped countries come out of these horrendous situations. For example, in 1995 when the United States lost billions of dollars due to peso devaluations in Mexico, the International Monetary Fund gave in 18 billion dollars to help. In addition, during the post communist Russian government in the early 20th century, the IMF was able to pull them out of debt. There are many positive affects of the IMF organization and it has helped tens to hundreds of countries. Writing in the IMF's perspective; If countries promise and sign a release saying they would pay back with interest, it is their own fault for borrowing money in the first place and therefore, cannot blame the organization for misdeed. All IMF wanted to do is help a country come out of a calamity with the financial cushion that that country can rely on but all shall be paid back. It is not fair for countries to fight back saying they cannot pay back and that IMF is there to trap the country with debt because these countries have used up all the money and since they cannot find a way to pay back, they rebel.
