In my opinion, the organization does have some pros and cons and it is very difficult to decide whether or not I would keep this organization running. I personally believe that the International Monetary Fund organization is just a temporary pleasure of satisfaction, however it soon clashes and the developing country is in major debt, plus the increasing interest. The interest part really confuses me. If these well-off countries really wanted to help the other impoverished countries, why can't they loan money for free? It is not called helping if you are asking for interest. It would be like saying "I saved your life during a war, now you owe me your life and your family member's too." I would understand if it is just the money that you received returning back because it would be highly generous if the head of the IMF countries decide to give out money for the sake of alliance. No country is generous enough to do such things unless they are getting something, that is more valuable than money, back.
Back to the point, I do see some advantages of having this organization because it does help the countries that are suffering a little time to get themselves together. Although it may not help all the way, it still gives them time and with a nation of people working together to make a profit, it is achievable to pay back the money that is borrowed, plus the interest. However it is very unlikely that it can be successful. It is just for the sake of having that little time of comfort, it may not be for long but who doesn't enjoy a little break from everything? Appreciating that comfort is the only significant pros of having this organization. Therefore in conclusion, the cons outweigh the pros so in my opinion, I would not keep the organization running.
